Half Termly Attendance Shop

At the end of every half term, every child in the school from years 1-6 has the chance to go shopping for toys, games and other bits and pieces. Across the half term, the children earn one star for each week that they have 100% attendance. For example, a child who has had no days off school would have a total of six stars in a six week half term. A child who has been on holiday in the first week and had a day of illness would earn 4 out of a total of 6 stars because they had absences in two of the weeks.

The amount of stars the children have earned at the end of the half term can be exchanged for prizes from the attendance trolley. Items cost different amounts depending on their value - some larger, more expensive items (such as fidget toys and cuddly toys) may cost six stars whereas smaller, less expensive items (such as pencils,, bubbles, bouncy balls etc.) may cost one star. The children have the choice how to spend their stars - they may choose to buy several smaller items or one larger one.

Photos of their time spent shopping will be displayed below at the end of each half term.
